Saturday night, we attended the Rod Stewart show. Yes, I know, another 77-year-old, but hey, it was a first for both of us.

The show took place at the Amalie Arena, the home of the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions imposed by Canadian authorities, the Toronto Raptors franchise played their home games at the Amalie Arena for the 2020-2021 NBA season.

The venue is currently the largest in the state of Florida, with a capacity of 19,204 for ice hockey, 20,500 for basketball, and 21,500 for concerts.

The opening act was provided by Cheap Trick. More 70-year-old grandpas, but they still have energy!

Rod Stewart was accompanied by a group of very high quality musicians who provided the necessary support, especially to give him time to change. Sir Rod Stewart must always be "swag"...
